What is the Manual Gearbox Oil change interval for a UK Mazda 5

As above, i'm trying to confirm the Manual Gearbox Oil change interval for a UK Mazda 5. My local Mazda dealer are saying 35000 miles which seems very low to me.

Also what is the recommended oil to use?

Do it now. You will be very happy. It is a super easy process, easier than an oil change. I hate siphon pumps and recommend a simple yet cheaper hose + funnel. No matter what, get the Ford fluid!

What he said. I changed it mine with FoMoCo fluid and it is smooooth
