What do you guys think about this Body Kit I found???

Does not go w/ our cars...at all!(notcool).Sorry!Stick w/ stock.Mazda did an great job w/ the appearance of the Protege.But if u really want an aftermarket kit,find a better looking one!(lol2) or save money and get add a lip kit such as DG.

i couldnt agree with u more, i LOVE!!!! the stock mazda kit. the front is beutiful and i will never get a kit, and DG will finish off the front though. but the stock kits on lx,dx,es proteges are nasty.

Agreed. Theres no need for body kit for our cars. They look aggressive enough and even better with a lip. So agressive its almost embarassing telling someone you only have a little over 100 hp in it.

that's the buddyclub 2 kit. only part I really like on it is the front fascia. sideskirts are too boxy and the rear is mehh

Where and how much is the add-on front clip that everybody has, i see protegegarage has carbon fiber, but i wanna see plain colors n prices..

imho the best is the WW(now only made by vis which sucks cause they dont make it in polyurethane anymore) kit which is what I have. Cut off the wind splitters on the sideskirts and it is the best out there(which is what I plan to do after I know if I plan to keep the car or not).

Buddy Club kit isn't bad,but I love my massive fogs too much to lose them,hahaha!If I was to change my front bumper and of course lose my fogs,I'd get the 03.5 MSP bumper.But for me,that ain't happening.

yea, i think if i do get the kit, ill put some fogs in it, something to set it off...i wonder how much a body should would charge to paint and mold it to the right fitment, has anybody every installed there own body kit??? How is it...HARD EASY STRESSFULL? opinions??

Installing a body kit hard? Yes and no...polyurethane is definitely easier and more forgiving to work with than fiberglass but often times depending on your car the option of polyurethane is slim at best. I made my own side skirts for my previous baby and installed my own bumper...it's not difficult...just remove the bolts holding your front bumper and put the new one on...and just so you know 95% of the time it's never a perfect fit which means a bit of work...before you order it be sure you have the right measurements where it fits around your safety bar...because moving that thing is a b**** and excrusiatingly* time consuming lol...
The fiberglass Type E buddy front bumper I had on my old car I got from extreme dimensions and it was fiberglass, was almost a perfect fit but I had to modify it a bit...I cut it up the middle removed what I didn't need, re-enforced the seem with 1/4" plywood and 1/4" abs in behind, did the body work and then I took it and had it painted. Just make sure you have at least three layers of clear coat on it or it'll chip like crazy. For me because I'm not a professional this took me two weeks to make the skirts and a weekend to get everything fitted and do the body work so it was ready for paint. I painted my skirts myself so if you're looking to paint it yourself make sure you do it indoors cause there's these weird bugs that show up outside lol and use a self etching primer. When attempting anything like this especially on a daily driver, you must have PATIENCE lol..because it's just not pretty if you don't LOL
