Warning Factory Alarm

I just took my MSP in to get an alarm put in and I am glad I did. I was having a hard time because of the Turbo timer, Finally found someone that knew what they were doing. The shock sensor does not arm until after three minutes when the turbo timer shuts off the car.
Anyhow I go in there and the guy says look here, He says arm the car and leave the window open, so I did. he opens the door of course the alarm starts going off, he reaches under the dash pulls out the plug going into the "Security" box the alarm stops and he says your car is mine. What a POS.
Now I( am hooked up they can still get it but it will be a little harder then that, I mean he did that within 15 seconds.

as the old saying goes...if they want your car they'll get your car...

i remember a while back watching the documentary on grand theft auto...these guys were amazing...said that pretty much all alarms are junk they won't stop anybody (which is partly true, how many times do car alarms go off but ppl do nothin, not even look)...in those 15 sec. some of the pros would've had your car down the street already...

Yea you are right if they want it they will get it but I am going to make it as hard as I can for them.
At least this one disables the starter. Make um work for it. You are right I hear one of those alarms I hardly notice.

LOL...that's a classic. As i've said in other posts, an alarm is only as good as it's installation. If the wires stick out like a sore thumb, the thief is going to find it that much quicker. Whenever I install alarms, I try and hide most of the wiring in with the existing factory wire looms and re-tape them. It is definitely worth the extra effort.

So he pulled the wire and the alarm shut off. Isn't the fuel still cut off? What would happen if you put your key in the ignition and tried to start it WITHOUT pushing any FOB buttons after pulling the wire?
