Got some goodies... fd's witch I stretched 195/45. Tires on and painting white soon.got a greddy evo2 catback for 20$ lol. Got my new 20mm adaptors and my 95accord type r lip

Once you cut your rear springs, did you notice more bounce in the car?

when i first put the springs in they were really stiff... i cut the coil and it still rides better than stock no bounce at all and im still on kyb gr-2 springs ( basicly stock struts). i have been riding on a cut coilo now for over a year and still the same ride quality as when i first cut them

The car is looking good love fds the civic lip looked good and the accord type r lip looks like it will fit with out much modification

the accord lip will have NO modification... the civic lip i have to make extensions to make it fit to fender well part of bumper

Springs

Roughly how many inches did you cut off from the bottom to get the extra inch?

i just cut 1 coil... if ur lookin at the bottom of the coil. right where the spring ends...mark on the next coil up and cut

Anyone know if KL front motor mount inserts fit the FS front motor mount

iirc the mounts are the same, so it should work

Just got done going through the whole thread, did you ever fix that back quarter panel?
Definitely would like to see the new lip on.
I have the Megan springs too and would love to cut one coil off to get that extra inch. Hmmmm things to do these coming days off.

The rear quarter is half way done lol... I cut out the rot and welded in new metal then fiberglasses it.I still need to finish it

If this lip looks good, I'm definitely getting one off ebay. $43 shipped is amazing compared to the MS protege lip.

The accord lip is a direct fit... no modding

From the pic above the lip looks too short side to side. Like the corners won't line up.
