Vac lines

so how much 5/32 do we need

I ordered 20ft and have some left over but I didn't replace the line running along the top left corner of these 2 pics

which if I remember correctly goes to the windshield spray nozzles or something so that might account for the left over

what bov is that? looks like its venting to atmosphere with an un-relocated MAF....any stalling or stumbling issues with that setup?

SO 15ft of 3.5 + 10ft of 4 would do the job ??

That is correct, it is a knock off Greddy S BOV and I'm running the dual set up with the BPV so I have no stalling or stumbling issues.

And 15 feet of the 3.5 might be enough but I found out the hard way it is better to have to much than not enough.

^^^ So you would rather use 20ft of 3.5 and eliminate the use of 4 at all , is that the way you did it ??

i have a question

on the cold pipe, that bracket at the top, what is it for?

On my car when i took off the stock intake/ cold pipe it didnt have anything like that than i installed the Turbohoses cold/hot pipes and it has that bracket on it, wahts it for?

also, anyone know how good stylinmotors vacuum lines are? i like the look of their black ones, and i dont want to buy crap product.

No, I used the 4 for my wastegate line but for the rest I used 3.5.

That is for what I think is called the purge silinode valve or something like that. It is the thing in the bottom right corner in this pic

And I've never seen or heard of stylinmotors vacuum lines but I can't imagine black vacuum lines looking much different from different companies.

what you are looking for is silicone lines that won't collapse on themselves. Chances are, if you can buy it at pepboys, autozone, or advacned then you should do better. The real brite shiny silicone lines usually aren't the best, not at that diameter anyways.

I have had the stylinmotors.com silicone hoses on my car for over 2 years now. They are great. Wall thickness is not an issue, about a 1/4" thick. I would reccomend them to anyone.

Are the hoses from this site made of a better quailty than samco vacuum
lines??? or it doesn't matter??

They are the cheapest I found, the quality of the silicone is really good and they shipped quickly with very reasonable shipping charges. I got 20ft of 3.5mm and 10ft of 6mm shipped to me for $55 and some change. It looks like their prices went up a little bit but you should be able to get the 10ft of 4mm for around another $14.[/QUOTE]

I bought some of the Samco lines when I first started replacing my stock lines and I think the ones I got from Verocious were stronger and thicker. Plus they cost less, Samco I think you are paying more for the name.
