just a friendly bump. I've had these for nearly 8 years on a Protege 5. Through 2 sets of struts. Every time i take them off, i just wipe them down, and they still look brand new. they're the same part number for a sedan vs. the P5...P5 gets a slightly bigger drop in the rear because of the extra weight from the hatch/roof (more like 2" front and rear, instead of 1.8" in the back)....for street use they've been perfect...work great with tokico HP's.
