Sunroof Visor

If it is the same as the factory one, it mounts with two thin metal clips to the front lip of your sunroof opening. You might want to look for a better price, I only paid $36 plus tax at my dealer.

yeah, i will shop around, that was the easiest place i knew i could find a pic :) as long as it's not that 3M stick on tape it's worth it.. does it have a foam gasket or something on the underside to prevent any scratches once it's clipped into place? Thanks for your quick reply..

It has a rubber seal around it with two drain holes in the front corners to let water to drain out. After installing it, I have never removed mine to see it if scartched the paint at all.

problems

If it's not well installed, and your car is parked downhill for long rainy periods, it might leak.

I had the factory installed one and had to take it into the dealer so they could silicone some things and make the drain holes bigger. It was wetting the top of the A-pilar, driver side, and the entire driver side floor....weird huh?

No problems since.

hey guys thanks for the feedback.. weird how you had the leak.. i'll pick one up and take my chances!! it can always be removed, and for the price, i'm not worried about letting it sit unused :)

right, but i find the sunroof so noisy without it.. did it help out much for the wind sound when it was on? on my previous car it made a huge difference in sound..

If you're talking about the moonroof deflector, there were some other threads about it, might wanna look it up.

It will leave a mark after a while, but if you're paranoid about such things, then removing it once a month and washing the contact area should be fine. The other issue might be paint fade, but if you don't care about it, then enjoy it! It really quiets the wind noise down. my 2 cents.

taking it off once a month (or more) to clean under it won't bother me, since i'm a fanatic about washing anyway :) thanks everyone for the input, i'm going to pick one up asap now.
