Summer tires

I read the stickies but I still can't really decide what a good summer tire is for the price. Especially something that can withstand the heat of vegas and still have some treads life on em! Any suggestions guys?! :O

I'm running General Exclaim UHP's this summer. For the price, I'm very happy with them. They have a treadwear rating of 380 vs. 140 for the stock Bridgestones.

Thinking about just getting some eagle gt I have some on my car now and they were fine.

Just so you know the General UHP's aren't summers, they all-season which is why they have such a high tread wear rating.

technically these are all-season... but have suited me and a few people i know as great summer tires in california heat.
