My suggestion would be bust the windows out with rocks and then toss a couple Molotovs in the open windows, but if you're looking for a more mild alternative, I agree with your ideas.

-Rip the wing off (literally rip, like tie it to a truck and floor it)
-Pour acetone over most of the paint, but on the hood arrange slice of balogna in a smily face pattern
-Shove some mothballs in the gas tank (basically converts gas to a very dangerous, very volatile fluid that will probably blow the motor and oxodize the entire fuel system and top end of the engine)
-Set it on fire somehow. My preffered method would be the aforementioned Molotov cocktails or some home-made Napalm

All joking aside, you should definitely try to go through the law enforcement with this one. Think about it, you **** with their car, and then you have a pissed off person out there who knows where you live, and the cycle may never end. If you go through the cops, hopefully they will do some jail time at least.

And more than likely, your case has been assigned to a detective. I would find out who it is, and pester the crap outta him until he goes to this guys house for questioning. The officer that did the report is not going to be the one doing the investigating, so if you're calling to speak to HIM, then you are wasting your time. And thats IF they assigned it to a detective. For lack of evidence, they might not have given your case to anyone. Just FYI. Call the departments CID Unit or their records department and ask to speak to a "property crimes detective".

Then just let them rot in jail or juvi for however long. That's good enough revenge.

They're curbed to s***.. I dont want them back.
I want 1300 (wheels/tires) + 700 in damages/inconveince.. though I'm not sure what the court will say.

On top of that, not even having the money for wheels in the first place(read: stealing)
We can sell his car.
