Stock HID's, Change to aftermarket 8500K?

Hey guys, Love this Forum.... Forums are the best!

What is the stock part number for the Stock HID bulbs? Has anyone ever gotten after market bulbs that are a higher color rating? I love the HID, but want more of a blue look.... with a hint of purple, so I'm figuring 8500K would be perfect for this.

It's an H1 bulb. 8000k should give you a sky blue, I dont think they make 8500k might be wrong.

If you have an MS6 they are D2S bulbs. You can buy replacements from RPM for about $100.00

I have 8000k Healight Bulb upgrade bought them from therpmstore.com
I also did matching fogs with an Ebay HID kit

You have to remove the whole front bumper to change them without risk of damaging them. Good Luck

Your FMIC looks EXACTLY like mine, wow lol.

I have 10000k HIDs, and just put in Yellow fogs yesterday. My eyelids are a darker grey.

If those things werent such a pain to put in, i would of gotten 8K's myself. 10K must be awfully blue though! Are those dummy lights in your guys MS6's next to the signal bulb? I always thought those lit up?

So you want to have HISs with a shorter range than stock?? You realize the whiter the light the further the visability and the bluer the light the shorter the visability....
