squeaky belt

I had my two drive belts replaced recently. The lower (skinnier) one feels a bit loose and squeals like mad when it's cold or wet outside. I need to tighten it, right? Could someone give me tips or point me to a how-to? My search came up fruitless. Thanks!

See the manual. I'm about to tighten my belts this weekend too. It's in section 01-10-4b I believe.

if you use the UDP Install How-to, it shows you what bolts to loosen, and what to tighten to tighten the belt,
i need to tighten mine up a little more too, they squeal sometimes

mine used to squeal all the time. Its tight and all so I used a bit of WD and now its all good.

I had to tighten the a/c belt last night. They had stretched after 100K miles...

Took eight minutes.

New belts will require a couple of retensionings due to stretch.

The outside (from the point of view of the engine) belt (the one furthers to the passanger side) is easy, like someone said, 8 minutes. The inside belt (runs alternator) belt you have to get under the car i think. But once you're there its straight forward, loosen, adjust, tighten. If you need pics from the manual PM me.
