Speakers on hatch cover on P5

Umm, 2x40? try 4x75... or my 1x1100 that's under the driver's seat. There's plenty of room under there, And not that I'm doubting the voice of experience, but to me it seems like it would have to be pretty intentional to actually get something on an amp directly underneath you. I've actually ran under-seat amps for my past 3 cars and I've yet to have problems. I just like the space-savings. Depending on what computer you get, unless you're shooting for building one, they seem to be pretty damn tiny, I'm sure you could manage to squeeze one and a PS2 under one seat. My amps are quite large, and they're a perfect fit. in the pictuer my seat's slid all the way forward, usually there's plenty of toe-room for backseaters. I'm still thinking I might set the front of the floormats up on the amps (righ tnow the front 2" or so is covered by the amps) on the foot-side just to keep rear-seat-feet off of them for sure, but again, plenty of room.

Well when i was gonna have my front amp installed @ best buy they seemed to shy from putting it under the seat...which was my idea originally. ALso i spilled a drink on the amp by setting it on the seat...well it fell over and leaked between the cushions onto the amp, different car though 92 dakota. Also i dont like the idea of peoples feet being so close. I am sure it works but i rather display things diffeently...eventually i will have surrounds custom made for my existing amps. I will probably put my tweeter amp under tthe seat though only cause at this point i have no other place. also it would stay cool with the vents there...that amp is just asking to get stepped on..and what happened to your square center column cover...puttin stuff there?

yeah i was wondering what happened to that middle part too...im using a very small computer so maybe i can fit them both...if i do that im going to make something to put under the back of the seat so that no one can kick it...

and whoever said bass is omnidirectional...that doesn't mean you won't know where its coming from, it means that the sound radiates in all directions from the source, so it would still sound from the back...

how big of speakers can i fit in the front? will a 6 1.2 and a tweeter be able to fit in the front door compartments?

behind the center console panel I have my grounding block. Just had it open 'cause I took the pic when I'd just got my amps wiring cleaned up. was still putting things back together. And like I said, that's with my seat all the way forward. With the seat in it's normal position I have problems reaching the amps with my toes if I sit back there. Either way, I see little harm being inflicted on a large aluminum heatsink from someone's toes. The important ends are on the sides. One thing, though is I like to avoid flashy installs. I've had toomuch stuff stolen, I'd rather keep things hidden and sounding good.

As for what will fit in your doors, I'm currently working on making my own baffles to fit 6.5's with tweeters next to them, but it is VERY tight, and you do have to trim some pieces. If I actually get down to doing anything serious, I'll post a little how-to.
