In the 7's? All the rwd turbocharged import and sport compact domestics are running in the 6's and 7's...but aren't the fastest Hondas in the 8's?
But the point is...Hondas lead fwd drag racing because since day 1 (mid 90's I believe) someone decided that a torque less fwd Honda with an engine that isn't FI friendly would be great for drag racing.
Those Honda guys have had years, endless funds (in total), countless sponsorships, dominance in the mass market "aftermarket", media dominance, unphaseable dedication and actual pride for the brand...and a passion for RACING!
I hate Hondas but I have respect for those who stuck with this unconventional setup and are now on top.

Well we do not know what Spoolin will run because he has not ran his car at the track, which I do not blame him if he is trying to sale it. I think he ran it with a G- tech, but how acurate is that? I think that he would be in the high 13's, or low 14's. Also you have to look at the after market support for Honda's, it has been around since the early 90's, how long has the aftermarket support been around for the Protege'?

Trust me man, I laugh plenty, but when someone is trying to bust one something and it's not even remotely true...i just don't see the humor. It'd be like busting on Manute Bol for being short...

You see we aren't "attacking" honda owners...we are making fun of honda owners that rice out their auto to be something that it's not. We would make fun of any other car/brand that's more rice than a rice cake.

I know they are reliable, I used to own one, it doesn't show it isn't reliable, if anything it is a testament on how good the care is, seeing as it's an obvious 1980's looking civic hatch, that has lasted this long, with such pubishment, it shows the ignorant driver, redlining everywhere, peeling out at every stop light, and bouncing at the end of a gear for a long ass time. I'm sure if it was a chevy it woudl snap a driveshaft at the stop light. It's just about the people, not the car, the only reason they say 'so you drive a civic', is cause it's the stereotype - owning a civic dx auto from 1989, and doing everythign wrong you can with making it cool.
