Hi. So I have a 2012 Mazda 5 and have been running with a roof box quite a bit. I noticed the other day that the passenger front Thule foot was lifted slightly and in fact the plastic cover that runs along the rain gutter was too. I took off the base rack system and the plastic (and presumably metal that the standoff screws into) is bent or pulled upward so that it no longer sits flush to the rain gutter. Does anyone know hoe to get the plastic off, and if the metal that the Thule standoff screws into is a replaceable part? I sure hope so!! I figure that metal mount point got torqued somehow...and it does not seem safe the way it mounts now. Thanks for your help!!
