im sorry if i post too many new threads each day let me know if this is a problem, i like keeping forums simple as much as the next guy...

butttt i have a simple idea... ditch the stock piping since im leaking wayyyy to much boost under even light throttle (dont have a boost gague yet HAHA if you got one ill buy it!)

i have come to a roadblock...

i wont to get rid of the surge obviously so which way is the most cost affective approach to replace stock piping and slaughter the turkey while i am at it... im looking for reliable performance out of this car for at least a few years before upgrading.

so should i go-
A. hardpipe kit/with a hks ssqv and a maf relocation
B. custom hardpipe kit with a upgraded flange on the intake/hot pipe to increase flow with a 1" inlet and outlet for the stock BPV
C. i wanted to go this route because its the cheapest but idk if i can kill the turkey with it... http://www.corksport.com/corksport-mazdaspeed-protege-intercooler-hose-kit.html
D. buy a samco silicone hot pipe and build a cold pipe myself and create a flange close to the throttle to put in a BOV with maf relocation also

PS. for all these routes ill probably get a vacuum block to go off the BB line so i can get dedicated lines to the WGA/BPV/BOV/boost controller/boost gague

i would get a front mount kit but they cost so dang much =/
i would ebay source a FMIC but that is a wee bit time consuming and this is my DD

IM OPEN TO ANY IDEA... i just cant decide bc i still want to buy my CS 80mm Power series ASAP so i can slap my dope A$$ pope Downpipe =P

PS. PS. Boost leaks suck (pissed)

Lol I have a boost guage and u we're like ohh yeah sounds great ill buy it .. and I was like cool send me ur paypal email.. and u were like casper the friendly flake gone never to be herd again lol

Just get the street unit hard pipe kit it uses ur factory sidemount ic eliminates all boost leaks street unit allso sells the maf relocation kit then slap on a nice vta bov and presto no more compressor surge turkey noise, boost leaks or idle problems from vta ... its fairly cheap and reliable later down the road u can upgrade ur sidemount to an ets direct replacment allso sold on the street unit website

Sorry for any grammer horrible touchscreen phone bro

haha im sorry bro i got a little antsy on spending my paycheck and reliazed i did not have the funds... and i wont until wed, btw i relized to that all i wanted was the boost gague after i thought about it =P, i was going to buy a boost gague off someone else but i kinda forgot about it all with dealing with school and work.

The whole point of running a relocated maf is to run the bov anywhere b4 the maf so u can vent to atmosphere u don't have to recirq it would be just plain dumb to run a bov after the maf if u relocate it?

don't buy that relocation kit that SU sells, way over priced and is BS. You can buy two couplers and four t bolt clamps for the price of a couple of Chipotle burritos..lol. Even less if you go with those worm clamps but I would stick to t bolt clamps

would i need to cut the weaponR piping at all to relocate? and does the kit come with a BOV flange?
