Reducing oil consumption.

Hey, I am not calling you dishonest just wondering how this is suppose to make more power. My car will use some oil but some of it is due to the fact my stock oil on the turbo leaks a bit(very small.) It always has :(

Dead-doo-do-dailus, you are correct sir. It does say someone, somewhere made 20WHP from this.

Its all good man! Can't wait to see the end product of your build. (drive2)

Nope, since the vapors wont be going into the atmosphere, it will be fine.
Just to make sure, you guys are saying that its not good to just have a filter on the side of your crankcase. I would rather not have the oil from my crank case go back into my intake through the vac lines and into the turbo.

It's all good man, but it's been very very common for people to get gains on the dyno before/after with the product. A very small fraction of users get no notable hp gain but their curve always smooths itself out a whole lot at the very least.

That was in reference to SMOG and passing other visual emissions tests. Having a breather will make you fail.

I've tried to order these vents but the checkout link does not work.

It was an issue caused by the hosting company. I have fixed it and all should be well and running smoothly as well as and most importantly securely.

I'm getting ready to do your vents with a new catch can. Any specific catch cans you recommend that are going to be a closed system? I was looking at the perrin catch can which appears to have one in and one out on it. Any personal suggestions?

As long as it's a closed system. We sell the greddy cans but anything that's a closed system with only and in and out will work.

I've had a breather on the side of my crankcase before, and i passed emmisions....

Well... i can personally attest to losing at least that amount when i rerouted the PCV back to the stock location. It doesn't say it will give you 20hp, it says someone, somewhere reported 20whp gains. That doesn't mean it was on a 170hp MSP, it could've been on a 1000hp supra, so its all subjective. In there thread on S2ki i think they saw 2-3hp increases in power over the NA powerband. I would think (and agree) that there would be significantly more on a boosted application.

Where did you place the pcv before back to stock location? any pics? or what did u do

I did have the intake manifold inlet from the PCV blocked off. I routed Millenia PCV -> Catch Can & Breather -> Catch Can.

You can kind of see the setup here:

So the car responded better/had gains with that setup over stock setup? Are you still using this setup?

I will be once i get the crank vents, i'm putting it essentially back to this setup. The stock setup has caused detonation on my tune, and we had to detune the entire car to get it to run safe with it ingesting all of its oil back.
