I have a 2001 Mazda Protege LX with 130k on it. I just replaced the compressor with a used one off another 01 Protege. What are your opinions on replacing the receiver/dryer? I vacuumed the system and let it sit overnight. The system appears to be sealed. It's too cold to charge it up at the moment but I need to decide whether to swap the dryer or just call the vacuum good? I had a tough time getting the bolt off the dryer on the other car when I salvaged the condensor for a spare. I fear the same on the current set up?
