Rear headrests are tough to move/borderline stuck

I was able to push in the button and release them, but it was a ******* monster effort to get them up! I think they need regreasing, but I'm tempted to take them out, steel wool them a little, and regrease them.

Anyone have this issue? Any recommendations?

I have to grease mine occasionally. I'm going to try some silicone spray this time.

I haven't had any issues with mine, but there's rarely anybody back there, so who knows. lol

Light spray with silicone spray is needed. Steel wool is unnecessary.

Everyone who gets in the back gives me so much crap for this. Lol. I have never been able to raise them! Glad to know I'm not the only one with this problem.
