Rain-X Question

I couldn't find anything by searching but is it safe to apply Rain-X to the side rear-view mirrors on a 5? I'm used the heated mirrors on my old car and I need to do something since the mirrors on my 5 frost up pretty good.

I use the stuff, never had a problem.

I put it on the inside windshield so it wouldn't frost during winter. It also makes scraping ice on the outside much easier.

Thanks for the replies guys, I just did the side windows and side mirrors today. We'll see how well it repels the frost. It's done miracles for the rear window.

I use the concentrated windshield washer mix. great stuff.

I use the windshield washer fluids too, summer and winter ones. I noticed they changed the winter ones to clear not the yellow color it used to be. I hate the yellow especially when it freezes on the back bumper, looks like somebody peed on the bumper!!! hehe (canada)

huh. didn't know they had seasonal recipes. i'll have to look into that.
