Just about to breach 20,000 miles on my baby....damn that's alot for a 2002. I guess that's what I get for buying a demo model...but it was so much cheaper! Well anyway...I bought it with 9000 miles on it already, and travelling 120 miles a day to school doesn't help any. How many miles have you guys put on the odometer? Hopefully not that many more than me...I'm ashamed of the mileage on my baby!:wtf:

I had 22,300 as of last night. I bought mine in January of 2002... I have a long commute too... :)

Oh yeah, my car had 2 miles on it when I brought it home.

Ahh about 12k I think now. Havent really look closely at it.

Its going to start racking up now that I have to Commute to work. No more going down route 3 for a few miles then getting on a van.

Grrrr

And now I got a extra 30 miles to travel to get to Richmond.

Hmmm it be funny if we ever passed each other down there. :D
I'd play with you, but dont want you hitting anymore curbs. :D
*pokes Chandler*

j/k

I bought my P5 in May of 2002 with 10 miles on it. As of March 18th, 2003, I have just under 22,500 miles. My daily commute is about 40 miles round trip. But I spend my free time and weekends just driving my car (love to drive):) Of course, our P5 don't make it easy for a person to just leave it parked in the driveway.....am I RIGHT????

I'll being buying my first new home here soon. the commute to work alone will be 40 miles a day (both ways). right now it's only 10...

I guess I'm below the norm right now. Bought my PR5 in june of 2002 and I have 12700 miles.

Bought mine with 92 miles on April 11, 2002.

Now I have 32,400 (around there) on it. I'm guessing I'll be at around 33,xxx when I hit my 1 year aniversary, averaging around 2,900mi/month.

60mi each day for work, love taking road trips and just driving it around (drove twice from CT to Nawlins).
A car will always depreciate in value, I'm just not planning on keeping the mileage down and curbing my enjoyment of the car.

1st week i had it i went to San Antonio with it :D

haha gotcha...

well I feel better now knowing that I am not driving my car excessively, or at least as much as I could be. REMillers, I hope we do see each-other on 95 one day...lol. What did you mean by "play" with me...I could very easily misinterpret that. j/k Anyway, I love to drive my car too...it IS almost impossible to leave such a beautiful, fun car like ours parked too long. I can't help but drive it too much. All you 2003 MP5 owners...how many miles have yall put on em?

I Need To Do More Driven

I think a couple of trips to VA Beach this summer will take care of that. As of last night the odometer read 7,307k.

I got mine on the first day of release in May 2001. Now I just past 41,000 miles.

Mine has 32000km, that's almost 20000miles. Bought it in February 2002 and it had 22 miles on the odometer at delivery.

We use my wife's car on weekends or for long trips because her car is WAY better in the fuel mileage dept..(price of gas being around $3.20 per US gallon up here).

My daily commute to work is 115km (71.5miles) to and back of course.

In ten days of driving ... i've put 635 miles on my MP5. If that 60 mile a day trend continues ... i'm looking at 23,000 in one year. Zoom's right though ... that piece of art doesn't deserve to be standing still in one spot for too long :)

LoL have had mine since august 2002, I'm just reaching 4,000 think I have 3,956 to be exact. I love it too much to drive aimlessly, I just wax and clean her all the time. I want to keep her as long as I can.

700 miles as of today>>>

But bought it last Tuesday, so 100 miles a today almost.
Wow-

25,000 miles baby..going strong, somewhat, since May 2001 ( got one of the first official shipments, w00t). Let me give a shout out to all the 2002 protege5 first gen'ers out there, we were the trendsetters =P

bought mine in July of 2001, just turned 34,000. drive it every chance i get, it's the most fun to drive car i've ever owned!!

I believe we picked ours up in April of 2002. It has just about 26KK on it. It should taper off some though, the wife was recently transfered to a store that is only 8 (each way) miles from our house instead of the 56 miles (each way) that she was driving. We don't have any super long road trips in there except for Ohio to PA (Carlisle) and Ohio to Atlanta (super street tour). I think I love driving her car more than she does, although she did tell me the other day that the shorter commute sucks for one reason, she never really gets to get on the car and get into 5th gear anymore. I busted out laughing and immediately showed her differently!!

peace

Mine was built and originally delivered to the Dealer in 2001 as it was one of the first 02's delievere. For some reason, it didnt sell and the dealer i got it from bought or exchanged it from another dealership and it sat for a while on their lot. dont know why.

It did have 45 miles on it when I bought it and I almost backed out for another colour due to it. But I really wanted silver. Yellow was my first choice but none available for my price range.

Even the sales manager was surprised that they had one. Hennessey had the largest collection at the time (03 January 2002). I still wish I had gotten a white one though.
