Question about my shifter

Is the knob suppose to go down farther then thats its a msp knob? Also whats the torque on the bottom bolt when u tighten it.

you have to have it machined out for the msp knob..i had mine machined out fits way better.

I ordered it last week, and got it a few days later, havnt installed it....im actually selling it as i dont plan on keeping the car.

i believe the torque is like 12-16 N-m, its pretty low.

Here we go yeh also its hard to shift the bottom bolt makes me wonder. You have to get it kinda tight tho it was tight from the factory.

According to the FSM, correct torque setting for the shift lever bolt is 12-16 ft/lbs (16-22 N/m).
