You answered your own question without even realising it.... or you could do a straight water neck and get the cleance you need that speedcircut offers

My hose rad is like 0.5" from downpipe, is it any chance of melting/burning of something like that? This type of hose can take a lot of temp from what i know but i dont know if it can handle the downpipe heat ?

I've seen no damage done to hoses that were only 0.25" away.

I had an extra tstat housing so I cut it and flipped the nipple and had a buddy weld it. I'll have to snap a pic when I get home from the inlaws. It's got plenty enough space now.

I got a mam mani and mine had some space. wrapped it in heat wrap untill I received the spacer. I had no issues, now I have plenty of room.
