2005 Mazda 6 with manual temp control. AC works well, but the heat to the interior is bad. Seems to take forever to get to a reasonable level. Anyone else have this problem?
IF its run on vac sys like a lot of cars are, i would check the small vac line that controls flow to the heater core or the vac operated valve itself might be stuck. easy place to start, could be a few other things also but i dont have my shop man. in hand.
Took the glove box out and looked at the control (manual cable to arm). Found that the cable sheath had popped out of the cable clamp. With the sheath being able to move, cable wasn't able to move arm far enough to close off all of the cold air.
