Pirana, got some questions

sup man,

im diggin your mods on your car and i just wanted to know a couple things. first, how did you put in your oil pressure gauge? i bought an autometer gauge and the instructions are pretty bad. a friend told me that i need to tap and dye the engine block but i dont wanna just do that without knowing if theres another way. also, how did you put on the carbon fiber e-brake lever? looks pretty tight! thanks for your help

Thanks! The easy question is the e-brake. Remove the center console trim panels, they just pull up. Then got to do the "nasty" and cut the handle cover with a sharp razor blade; then just pull it out. Slide the leather boot in. You need the MOMO e-brake button adapter, which is a little piece of rubber that fills the gap between the chrome push button of the ebrake and the whole in the ebrake. Next slide the ebrake and tighten the 3 little hex screws. Then slide the boot over the chrome ring. Its not hard at all.

The oil pressure, is a different story. I never hooked it up. I got the gauge and did a temporary install for the shows and now I had to put my P5 for sale so I removed the stereo and the gauges, therefore never even looked at the installation. But sometimes you can remove the factory oil pressure sender and (may need a thread adapter) and put the Autometer sender. Your oil pressure light in the dash wont work anymore, but the other one will.

Hopefully some of this might help you. :)

or if you wanted both to work, and not going turbo, then im sure you can possibly use a T kinda like for the turbo feed line, out of the sending unit hole.
