Hey guys,

I do not think that I have a support on my s-pipe, when I looked at the "turbo torque specs" sticky I see that there looks to be a support implied near the junction of the S and j pipe.

Do I need this? I could weld one together if I could see what the stock on looks like... Can someone post a picture of the brace?

I have a gt-28rs squeezed in there, but I would assume that the exhaust is in the same location...

Thanks

Yes, you most absolutely do need it.. so having said that, you should just sell me your GT28RS :D

On a more serious note, you should be fine without it. It provides additional support for the heavy ass manifold and turbo above, so the main problem you may encounter is a cracked manifold (especially if it's the stock one). If you're really worried about it, you can probably buy a used one in the FS section for about $30-$40 or if you want to weld your own here is a pic I found in an old FS thread.

LOL, call me crazy, but I just dont see the bracket? I have the S-pipe with that threaded area, and I have the bracket still intact on the AC compressor mount. Just nothing in between?

Oh, I see.. you're missing the bracket. I thought you were saying the pipe itself was altered. So what you're missing is a little 90 degree bracket that allows you to secure the pipe to the front of the block right next to the A/C. This is the only pic I found of the bracket.. I hope it helps.
