Passenger mirror won't adjust upward

I took both inside door panels off recently and now my passenger mirror won't adjust/move upward. All other directions are fine. Should I troubleshoot the harness plug that goes into the mirror control on the driver's side door armrest? And the plug from the passenger side? Just wanted to check that I'm not missing something obvious.

Can you hear the motor buzzing??? ,... If not, it's probably a harness problem.

If you do hear the motor buzzing, I'd hose it down with spray lube.

Fixed the problem. It wasn't the harness or motor. I opened up the mirror control module and looked at the "up" contact points and saw a 1/16 break in the copper strip (probably due to age). I cut some really tiny pieces of some copper wire I had laying around and bridged the gap and it worked. Pretty ghetto fix if you ask me, but I returned to having full control of my mirrors.

I love the ghetto fix,... This guy regained full control of his fan speeds,..

Ghetto fixes make me feel smarter sometimes...but a little ashamed too. Lol...

This is my favorite ghetto fix,... It works great and I'm not embarrassed because nobody can see it,... (except everyone here of course,....)

I went with the 90 durometer inserts,...

that fan speed switch is awesome! lol ghetto fixes are hilarious and make your car yours. nothing to be ashamed of. i dont have a picture but i went to replace my drivers side headlight after the adjustment knob broke and it got stuck pointing way to far down to use and broke a bumper clip now the bumper hangs just a little to low and sticks off the side of the light just a hair, not noticeable unless your me, as no one i know can see it lol.
