i ordered the msp mechanics manual today.
i got it for cost at the dealership i bought my car.
its $100.00 plus tax, total 107.38.
thats actually pretty cheap.
i went to another local mazda dealership and they wanted $180.00!
yeap, the parts guy told me its the acutal factory shop manual which the service tech's use, hopefully it is.
i guess i'll find out when i pick it up in a week or so.
Geez! My dealer quoted me $137 and told me it was on back order and they'd call me when it came off back order (guess what? no call).
Is it part # 9999-95-017B-03? That's the manual. You'll also need 9999-95-019G-03 for the wiring diagrams. Let us know when it actually comes in. And tell us your dealer's phone number so we can order them, too!
I've looked at the 2003 FSM myself... it does have the MSP specific stuff, but I haven't been able to find any of the turbo specific servicing info though
yeap, thats the right part number(9999-95-017B-03).
i also asked about the wiring diagram but they are back ordered.
the parts guy gave me a quote of $60.
remember, they are selling me the manuals at cost.
ill let you guys know whats the deal with the manual when i go and pick it up.
i called the dealership today and they still have not received the manual.
its been 3-4 weeks now!
taking forever!
i guess ill have to still keep on waiting but once i get it ill let you all know!
