OEM Mazda DVD unit Monitor issues. Need HELP!

To those that have the OEM Mazda Overhead DVD Enertainment unit, have you had issues with the monitor occassionally losing the image or image cutting in and out? Lately, mine's been happening more often. Just the other day it took about 1 min til the image finally decided to show up. Any ideas?

Not sure if this is related but I have aftermarket Alpine PKG-RSE2 installed and bad ground would make the unit cut in/out on bumpy roads. Turns out that a faulty ground connection to the body caused this issue. You can easily check this by measuring the hardwired +12VDC and switched (sometimes called ACCESSORY) +12VDC using an DMM to see if they fluctuate.
