New MPI Coil system?

For now it has passed all of the tesing, even the most important test. Have one of your workers hold the plug with his hand as I powered the unit up. Based on the two foot back jump I would say the system will rock.

Give me a few more days with Matts car. We run into some problem with the turbo fitting, or better yet not fitting.

Cool. You should post a video of a spark plug firing before and after the amp, so that everyone can see what it does.

If you want, I can come up there myself and take a video.

ouch, that s*** ******* hurts

what type of coil are you using? just MSD stuff? some of those are pretty powerful/cheap/ easy to get

I got zapped once with a Mallory box.... talk about holy s*** from shinola..... my buddy couldn't stop laughing and I was like, "Oh man, OH man, my hand is numb...hahaha" That's one way to wake your ass up... to bad you didn't get it on video.....

Nick - what coils do you use? What plugs/gap do you run?

Don't know much, but he will be able to run a .030 gap at higher boost levels. That's great when it comes to cold start and idle. Hopefully I'll have one soon and dyno to give some results. HINT HINT Nick!!!!(hi)

So will this be the equivilant of attaching a coat hanger directly to the flux capacitor and zapping it with lightning? Can't wait. The stock ignition leaves much to be desired.

Probably soon. He wanted to get it tested out before he released it. I assume he's waiting to get a stock of them before advertising they are ready.

Peeps--you will need the MPI to run it, it is not PNP for the factory ECU I believe. Nick will have to clarify that.
