New INTAKE MANIFOLD protegegarage

If Ken is in fact not using the same mani as you, then he's not copying anything, and therefore you have no reason to have your panties in a bunch.

Keep the Vendor drama off the public forum. If I see it again, you'll earn your ass a one day ban.

If you have a problem with Ken and/or his manifold, call him. DO NOT come in and crap on his thread. You have been warned.

Again, it has nothing to do with the manifold itself. And no its not the same manifold. Your threats are out of line as you let Tekkie run his mouth.

My threats are not out of line. You're talking smack on another vendor, and I won't have it.

And regardless of whether or not you feel my threat is in line or not is irrelevant. Fact is, you keep it up, and you'll be dealt with.

hmmm. i would be interested in one of these maybe in the near future. but i have a quick ? does the 01 mp3 have the vics screws?

MP3's don't have the VTCS, only the VICS. All of the other's have the butterfly flaps at the head end except us.

so do i not need to have the fear of the dreaded screws going in the motor?

i've always wonder. so would i see much of a difference if i upgraded to this? i assuming it does have a better flow.

dynos are pending, but every customer i have sold it to - especially with boosted cars - have reported much better performance, smoother powerband and faster spoolup.

so is there a certain year that this mani came off of?

the best usable cores i bought were from 2000 model year, ones can be used from other years but require modification

got a couple questions bout the install for those that have installed this mani
first off i got mine for my 01 lx, a week or so ago and it looks great, but im not sure bout couple things,

first off, to avoid throwin a cel the vtcs has to stay connected and left hanging somewhere?
and if i get an mp3 ecu i should just be able to remove it completely right?

I noticed couple things bolt up to the stock mani and there is no place on the new mani, like some some kind of actuator on passenger side of mani, where should it go

and as for the fuel rail , is there a problem with just removing it?

Thanks for the help!

ya a check engine light, but you also will not be reburning exhaust, which is a complete waste, and getting your intake all carboned up. I took mine off at about 3000 miles when the turbo went in. I now have almost 40000 and when my intake mani was off the other week, it looks like new inside of it.
