Just curious as to the best options out there for the brake job? I have always taken my cars to the dealer for brake jobs, but it is always so damn costly. Any other recommendations?
Also, for anyone who has had theirs done at the stealership, what would I be expecting to pay?

The brakes are pretty straight forward. The only thing that throws people off is the rear calipers. You need to rotate and push the piston in simultaneously when re-assembling.

I just bought the pads online, then took them to a local performance shop, they installed them for $30, and was out of there in 30 minutes.

Repeatedly. Talk to Koji. They are Miata specialists but are very good with all Japanese models.
