Welcome Dane. Car is lookin good! I didn't realize you have these many mods.

How do you like the bc coilovers? I am really considering these once I find a grand laying somewhere. I want my tires tucking though. Is the ride good compared to stock or even with just lowering springs installed?

sup qwik
i like them, and im NOT using them t their full potential as of right now.
i really want to get someone who has a little more experience with suspension than i do, and really dial it in one day. and i want to drop it more. haha
that being said. the car rides great. i played with them a bit (right height and dampening) when i first put them on, then paid for an alignment so i decided not to waste money and tweak it more.
ride quality is great, much better than the eibach prokit i had. a little more "rough around the edges" than stock in certain situations but i feel very happy every time i drive it.
even with my amateur suspension tuning she handles like a dream, and it can only get better. adding a rear sway and getting it dialed in makes me JIMP (jizz in my pants)

Sweet. Thanks for the heads up. Looking forward to getting these sometime next year.

you should...
your car is still so sick. really wish i had a white one.
keep it up and enjoy.
i was considering doing those mudflaps you did.. you might be receiving a PM in the near future with a few questions from me :-)
roof racks + mud flaps=hello mt. biking for the winter.

lol. I am still wating to see another speed6 with rally armor flaps. Am I the first? I think I just made history! I actually got the idea when I saw a guy with a silver one on msf make his own. I had to modify them again to bring them in half an inch to make them more flush with the wheels. I may end up taking the front ones and bringing them up half an inch since they are only 2 inches from the ground. If you need a template made up or anything to help you with the install I would be glad to help. It was kind of a PITA to get it all lined up on the ground and yet jack the car up to remove the wheels at the same time to drill holes then come back and readjust.

ya that sounds like a PITA..
did you actually have to make cuts or was it more figuring out holes?
did you drill holes through the flaps and use stock fenderwall bolts as mounting?
i have never done flaps and havent really inspected any up close so it would be a new thing for me.

First I cut an inch off the flaps from the inside since they were way too wide. Suited for a car with 10" wheels atleast. I got them in postion and marked points on the flaps from the back side. Then drilled holes in the flaps where I thought a screw would hold firmly. then came back and put them in the same position. Took a marker and through the holes I drilled, I made a mark on the innder fender where it is mounted. Then screw them!

Front was a little more difficult since some inner fender trim had to be taken off to get a flush mount. Easier in one way though since 2 of the screws were already there for a solid point to mount them on.

your check washer fluid light is on... might wanna clear that cwl. haha.

car looks amazing. college mode? one question... WHY!

lol...
the washer tank light was on because it wanted more meth. haha i used that tank and tapped out the bottom instead of using a trunk mounted tank. (it also gave me a reminder when i was low)

college mode...
1) unfortunately having all these things yields a lot of time wrenching on the car. i have no garage, car port, anything (at school).
2) after 2 emissions tickets here in CA i decided to take most of it off while im in a smaller town with virtually no loud cars (me previous tickets cost me over $1,000)
3) told myself if i focus on school and get the desired grades. ill reward myself by not taking a summer class and modding the car harder again. haha
