kid i graduated highschool with trashed a 740il (his 16th birthday present), an f150 lighting, and a svt cobra all before he turned 19. and by trashed, i mean rolled three times, blew the engine, and crashed in to a bridge, in order of listed above.
parents just kept buying s*** for him. he currently owns a lexus gs400...trashed, i'm sure.
people that don't pay for anything have no sense of property value or pride in ownership.

u should see my next door neighbor... lemme start this list, eclipse gs-t, solara V6, prelude vtec, tahoe 4x4 with the BIG V8, jaguar convertible (didnt actually destroy the car as much as run the piss out of the engine, it got sold with 6 cylinderrs working out of 12), motorcycle, and i think theres one more car, but i dunno what it is... wait, cavalier...
The kid on the hood got his license less than a week ago, here is his car, with him driving it

The kid who owns the Protege doesnt do those 'jumps' anymore, he just got his brakes and transmission fixed, his car started making these terrible loud clanking sounds. His exhaust fell off (came off the last support) a bunch of times but still seems to be intact..
He is getting a body kit within the week though so he's going to hold off on all the crazy incline stuff.

Ahh the reckless spirit of youth, how it can so suddenly come to a sharp end. Just reminds me of a kid car surfing and getting killed at my high school, then a friend who jump his car and smacked a tree ripping his friend in half....life came to a sudden realization and end later when he killed himself.
Perhaps life was simple back then you either lived inmaturely or die inmaturely, but hopefully they will live long enough to realize how to enjoy life while stilling have fun and not being reckless with it.
