MS3 oil?

how many quart are you suppose to use for the 3? I was told 6.5 but I couldn't find it exactly on the manual (I am sure I just didn't read it hard enough)

5.5-6 quarts for the MS3. MIne took 6 after I checked it again a day after the oil change.

Well I bought Mobil 1 when it was on sale and I get the dealer to put it in. The price comes to the same as if I had used their dino oil because of their typical stealership markup.

As for why I even bother, well I like the piece of mind of having an oil thats supposed to last better under harsher conditions.

And saying that your previous engines worked great with reg oil and reg oil changes although true can be compared to a lifelong smoker who never gets cancer. Yes it might work for you but doesnt mean that not using synth or quitting smoking is the right way to go.

According to the service manual, its 6 quarts for a full oil/filter change.

so you guys think that extra .5 quart will cost any problem to my engine?, if so,what's the best way to drain it out?

It probly wont cause any damage. But if you must drain it just unscrew the oil plug and take it out for like 2seconds and put it back in quick. It will be messy.
