Here in my state of Alabama is similar to many others in that you are allowed to have much darker window tinting on passenger compartment windows. I read where some people said they were not allowed to tint the rear areas darker because the Mazda5 was classified as a car/wagon. Where does one look up the "official" classification? Is this federal of something done state to state?

I know the laws in my state. You totally missed the point in which I do not know what the Mazda5 is classified as by my state (van or car have different standards applied to them depending on what they are classified as). Guess I will have to wait for my title application to come in so I can register the vehicle and take a look then.
