Then you're doing pretty good on 'em. Regardless of how much cost they add, you're just confirming it's based on preference, not longevity. I'll never buy a new car either. Ours is a family vehicle, and I wouldn't make my wife drive a stick again now that she has 3 kid's (2 are ours) to tote around. We enjoy the 5, automatic transmission and all.
Back from the rabbit trail. I will check out the C-Max just for comparison if anything. We have nothing else on the market that truly competes with the 5.

That's just for 1 arm though, I was referring to the ones we have that are for both arms. The cup holders and sliding door speakers are nice though.Check the sliding doors - molded armrests (and cupholders) which the 5 does not have
