Making the sp6 alarm system more sensitive??

How can i make my alarm system more sensitive in my sp6? I was looking on the mazda website and they apparently offer this mod for like 60 bucks but when i called the dealer they didn't know what the hell i was talking about

Alarm shock sensor? You can buy it from mazdastuff for about $45 or so.

sometimes when i click the lock button when a door is open this beaping starts, but i quickly unlock the doors... but what does this do,y does it beap?

It beeps because it thinks you are about to lock the keys in the car. Or more importantly, you may leave the keys in the car which really means the car can be unlocked by anyone who walks up to it. Close the door, then lock the car...that is the correct order to prevent the beeping.

Underneath the driver's side dash behind the lever to open the hood. But you really have to get underneath that area. You should see a black box held on with zipties and there will be a knob that you can turn, that is the adjustment knob. There are alot of adjustments that you can make just turn the knob and when it is sensitive enough to your liking, your done. Note that this will only be there if your car has the alarm shock sensor upgrade, it does not come on the car stock, it is considered an accessory.

wow, i've always seen it but never really saw it ya know. that's some good information to know. i put mine a little bit more sensitive. only thing is it goes off when loud cars go by lol.

mine doesnt have the shock sensor, so what does the alarm system actually entail? or does it just beep to make everyone think it has an alarm?
