Just wanted to show everyone my set up right now. I just painted the radio trim silver and I think it looks great. Let me know what you all think. Also the Oil Pressure Gauge is not hooked up, actually I will sell it with the sender and whatever else it came with to somebody, make me an offer, including SS T and Adapter for it. I am going to put my WB02 Gauge in its place once I get my iON exhaust.

I will be running a Blue Led with some sort of Plastic backing on the M when I decide which route to go for that. I also will be installing a new M2G bracket because I knicked this one up when I was rushing the install in the dark. But thanks for the compliments.

I tell you the easiest way to do it and make it look good ...

Go to home depot and get a small piece of lexan (plexiglass) and some heavy grit sand paper. Sand the hell out of one side of the lexan and you have cheap non-breakable frosted glass. Glue the smooth side to the back of the gauge bracket and voila.

Thats what i did ... ill send you some pics tonight.

Hey thanks man. What did you do for the Light Source? Led? Thanks for the tip, I am looking forward to the pics.

To be honest im redoing that right now ... i bought 2 super bright LEDs to go in there, but im not happy with the way they look. I ended up just getting a 3" street glow neon tube and glueing it down inside that hole. Its much brighter and the color is even ... LEDs are too focused of a beam for me.

What did you use to paint the radio trim ... its almost the exact color of the gauge bezel.

The paint for the radio trim was just some metallic silver spray paint I bought from Sears Hardware. I will tell you which brand when i get home. The silver does match well. And for those who don't know, the M2G is NOT painted, that is the Aluminum look of it stock, thats why I painted the radio trim because it was the only black thing in the whole collage of stuff.

Thanks for the info on the led situation. What do you hook up the neon tube up to for power, just a 12 volt source like I did for the gauge lighting?

Oh and not that is definitely needed but to help the painting process I "primed" the trim piece with Krylon Fusion paint which is meant for plastics. I sanded it and then applied the silver paint.

Are those the screws that you can see at the top left and right of the gauge panel? Overall the panel looks good, but the screws look like crap.

Yes .. the factory screws do show in the panel ... im going to spray mine silver to hide them.

Yeah I plan on doing the same, I was very sad to see the screws. I will paint them silver this weekend when I get time. Tonight is PC building night for me if I get out of work at a decent hour...

Looks friggin nice. It'll look even better once you get the blue neon light and frosted plexiglass in there.
