Luminic Bulbs

All 'pure' osrams from europe or are they available from north america? I'm game if comparable in price, I'll do a long-term comparison test next time I need some. Not sure when that may be since I just bought a new pair & still have one of the older ones for a spare. No melted plug or weirded out stuff on either of the old ones. One reason the sylvanias win with me is the instant availability without having to wait for package to arrive or pay out the ass if not getting them online. Not really thinkin I wanna spend any more than I already have unless going to HID. Did anyone notice the difference in lumens from h7 to 9005s on the chart for sylvanias? Both are 55w 4000k but 9005s say 1750 lumens & the h7s are 1350 lumens. Others are even less lumens.

u have to order them online, they are marketed in europe.

has anyone actually tried the powerbulbs brand? they are buy one get one free right now...

This looks interesting! With bulbs you really never know until you try. Trial and error, despite what they put in the ad :(.

yea i'm really tempted to try them...i also came across the Phillips Blue Vision. i wanna get the powerbulbs brand and try them...and being BOGO right now...really tempting

Daniel Stern's research showed that the osram silverstars, those powerbulbs ones, and all of the other clear glass "high output" bulbs were literally the same thing

what about the blue ones? the PowerBlue? so Daniel reviewed the Powerbulbs branda as well?

I have the Phillips for brights. Seem plenty good. Don't use them that often but definite improvement over what I had & available without them having to endure more shipping & mishandling @ your local parts places @ a reasonable price.

He only reviewed clear-glass bulbs.. he's a purist, anything else is just sinful to him :P

got some more good news on the powerbulbs...the powerbulbs brand, PowerPlus and PowerBlue some w/ a 1 year warranty....

i have a set of Phillips super whites that ive had for over a year and there great.there not as blue as my luminics but honestly i can see better w/the phillips than i can w/the luminics.

yea i ordered those powerblue bulbs while they are BOGO and figured i'd give em a try to see which i like better. i may eventually get the phillips too. when i placed the order they sent me a code for 10% off my next order so i may get them at a later date.
