Totally bummed. Fell out of my pocket in a cab in SF. Probably slim to none chance of getting it back.

Any suggestions (Short of getting a new stereo)? Can I get a replacement face from Kenwood?

I'm in desparate need of some good news, so please help me out someone. Thanks. :(

Might be a slim chance, but did you call the Cab company, maybe someone found it..

I'd get the part number and call around or do some internet searches. I dont know much about audio equipment, so I'm not sure if you can purchase just a face...

from what i hear it will cost almost as much for a new face as it would to replace the whole unit. But like everyone said, try calling the cab company, if no go then search around.

just call up kenwood they can give you a price of the new face...... if your going to buy a whole new radio..go with something else.

if the face cost is almost that of a new unit , just go get a new unit, maybe something a little bit more reliable.

when i lost the face to my old car it was around $150-200 if i remember right

Cool...thanks for all the info guys. I already called the cab company and they haven't seen it. I'm not sure why someone wouldn't turn it in? Not much they can do with it. But anyway, I guess it's time to call Kenwood and see how much. If it's just $100 to $200 I'll probably get it rather than replace the whole deck. Even though there are better decks out there, it's kinda cool to say that "this came stock". Anyways, thanks for all the info, I'll let you know what Kenwood says in case anyone else is stupid enough to lose theirs. :D
