IMHO '94 was the best Civ ever made

Yup. '93 was plagued with electrical problems according to lemon-aid car guide.

- Interior Room : I'm a big guy, and the P5 just feels MUCH roomier than a Civ .. ( then again, part of what makes a Civic seem so cramped is also what makes it seem more Solid )

That gen Civic did have more sideways headroom than the P5. Comes in handy in those hard corners when you have to tilt your head.

T Driving,

I almost forgot.

The P5 takes longer to wash and wax than the Civic.

In fact, it gets annoying b/c there's more places for water to hide in the P5.

You're right, especially the fog lights!!

Youll also notice that the P5's engine revs so willingly youll forget to shift and redline it lol. Seriously one of the best sounding engines i've heard in a while!

It also feels like a much more expensive car when driving it. It doesnt feel like you've settled for an economy car.

Also the whole rear hatch and the rear spoiler.

And just in front of the rear bumper guard closest to the hatch. Argghhh!

The mirrors and door handles are common for everyone.

i hate how the grille holds water. when it dries, i have hard water stains all up in the grille. what's the best way to remedy this? tia.

now back to the original question, the pro is so much more fun to drive and ride in than, say, a corolla, or a civic of equivalent model years. the only thing i can see you wanting more in this car is more power. the civic is lighter as is the corolla, but the difference is very slight. the engine also sounds much more engaged than the corolla or civic. it's not a bad loud, it's a nice engine revving loud.

I'm leaning along the same lines as the original post. .. however, I sort of know what I'm getting into. What's changed in terms of major components (other than the autostick) for the new 2003 model?

choice was between an acura 1.7EL, a used impreza, or this.

Not sure if your in canada, but for the canadian 2003 P5 vs 2002:

-Different shift knob
-Tweeters in mirror panel
-Side marker flashers
-Blackened headlights
-Different Alloy wheels

Am i missing something?

Subwoofer isn't available in Canada.

T Driving, I forgot to mention that the P5 has crappy visibility out the rear view mirror.
