JIC's should fit, right? Then how come . . .

Yes, sorry, for coilovers. Are the Tein SS easy to adjust damping front and rear, or do you have to drop the rears to adjust it?

to adjust height you have to jack up the car, turn nut.. done

to adjust dampning you have to remove the rear deck cover, and turn a set screw, either by hand or with a supplied allen-tool

figured I'd bump this for s**** and giggles since I am in the same boat right now on my mp3.. I have rota tarmac wheels (7.5" wide 48mm offset) and the stock bridgestone Potenza's rub like a mofo because of the curb protector... My camber is set pretty negative in the rear though so I may compromise it or something until I can get different tires to correct the issue... fronts seem fine but the camber is wrong so far... just put the coilovers on the other night and am setting spring pre-tension and ride height currently.

Wow, this thread is back from the dead. This has been resolved. The issue is the offset of the stock rim on the MSP. JIC did the fitment on an MSP with different wheels and on a P5. So, it's true. They don't fit with the stock wheels on the MSP.

I ended up going through and machining my coilover flanges to allow for more adjustment and to move the wheel out away from the shock body more. Should resolve it and gives me a bunch more adjustment. then to hold things in place to ensure that on the track I don't have issues I use small metal fillers to give the bolt no place to go. I'm doing final fitment on the rears tonight (fronts were fine... tires are "0" camber relative to the car and relative to the shock... so I'm using only the camber plate up top to do my adjustment now). So that's the word. I'll post some pics later of what I did to the rears that may help.

Later!

Steve
