Today, Corey (MemphisRacer) & I are getting together to possibly have my exhaust modified. I will drive his MAZDASPEED with about 9.5 psi, and see how I like the sound of his newly modified exhaust. If I do dig it, off we go to the muffler shop.

Also; we are going to install my Joe P XZ MBC! I know what your thinking. It's about time!! We are also going to address that damned stumbling issue.

9+ PSI is AWESOME!!!!!!!

It's hard to put into words, the difference the Joe P XZ MBC makes. Fantastic!!

When we first hooked everything up, and tested it, I wasn't really able to adjust the boost. It was wide open. I actually hit just over 12psi!! It was a monster!! Ask Corey.

It turns out; after removing the MBC to check it over, make sure we were reading the instructions correctly; and blowing into the MBC, we weren't able to notice any air coming out the other side - no matter how we adjusted the knob. I remember Joe saying that about 10psi was when pretty much when you could just begin to feel the air blowing through. All of a sudden; phhhhh - the passage cleared! Something was in the MBC. 'Dont' know what was in the air passage. We looked on the ground, to no avail. Obviously, it was quite small.

No matter. We hooked everything back up, made a few runs, got it dialed in to about 9psi, and it is fantastic! It spools sooo fast, and 2nd ignites, 3rd explodes - and your at about 60 mph!

I hit 14.93 last nite with 10 psi and no other mods. It was nice as hell. Glad to see you got your MBC in Greg, enjoy the Drive. and we all know

As I was saying......got it dialed in to about 9psi, and it is fantastic! It spools sooo fast, and 2nd ignites, 3rd explodes - and your at about 60 mph, and climbing fast! It's like a whole other car. (And; I loved the old one!!!)

It's pretty easy to install. The procedures are all over the forum in different threads, and instructions are provided with the MBC. As Joe (kwiktsi), told me; When you can just barely blow air through the MBC while holding it to your mouth, that is close to 10psi. Then, you can adjust from there. Make sure you have the right ends when connecting it. You will want to get about 6-12" of automotive tubing, too (3/16" inside diameter, I believe).
