Injen CAI Hydro-Locking questions.

yea it rained twice this year LOL

two years ago though it did rain for a week non stop and i do remember once in my lifetime it rained for 2 weeks straight, but thats all changed now. i think its mostly night time rain (late night) and ends before i wake up so like a sneak attack

like when i'm parked outside thinking "its a nice day it wont rain" the rain gods on the other hand..... "looks like kelvin is parking outside tonight, now is the time to attack!" "hold on! lets wait until he falls asleep so he wont know what hits him! muahahaha!"

It has been awhile sence I last live or even been in cali (8 years) but you wouldn't think that it would change that much on how often it rains. The "rain gods" do that to me except their like I see dan just spent all day washing waxing his truck so thierfor it must ran for the next 2 days. I can even looka the stupid weather report and radar and it doesn't seem to help any.

Who would ever try to take a P5 through a 2' puddle? It's not a Jeep. I don't know why everyone is so worried about fully submerging a CAI.

if you do end up driving through a puddle that ends up being deeper then you expected turn ur s*** off and let it roll thru the puddle or get out of ur car and push it thru. thats the best thing to to IMHO, i live in florida and have had to do this several times especially at night time when we get flash floods.

If I remember correctly when I got my Injen it also came with instructions to convert it to a short intake so if your at all worried about having to drive to work in a 2' river you can convert it.

You are correct sit you can convert any CAI to a SRI however most people are to lazy to do so and don't want to go though all the effort involed to convert it over toa SRI then back to a CAI.
