dig around on ebay. A lot of wreckers list things on there, with great feedback, pictures of the actual part, etc...so its not as ridiculous as it was just a few years ago.

With the pictures, you can trace the part number to make sure you're getting what you need. Most used ECU's for our cars range between $100 and $200, a solid $900 less than a new ecu from the dealer.
