I want to relocate the License Plate (front). Any ideas?

The front license plate blocks my FMIC. I shifted it up a bit, but I'd prefer to move it someplace else. I wish I lived in an area with laws that don't require a front license plate, but I don't.

Has anyone relocated his front license plate; to where?
Are there any license relocation kits out there?

i vaguely recall someone with a silver MSP from colorado who had a front license plate off-set to the left of the front bumper... i'll look for a pic

90 degree bracket from home depot and 3 self tapping screws....... Total cost, about 2$

Any ideas on how to cover/fix the old holes in the bumper after I move the plate/bracket? My color is Yellow Mica.

I think there is an aftermarkey solution for that but honestly I don't know. When I did my front end conversion I told them to not drill the holes

I'm sure they make Front License Plate Bumper Plugs. I know they make them for other cars.. not sure on this one but im sure they can be pretty universal.. just need to paint them to match im sure.

You're right. Googl'ing for "License Plate Bumper Plugs" did the trick. There's even a DIY option.

Or you can get the thing I have, but I don't know if it will work with the 2003.5 lips... Mine you can fold it under and fold it back up for when you drive, therefor no holes in the bumper and looks fine and doesn't block the intercooler.

I'm not sure what the "thing that you have" is. Do you have a picture of what you're describing?

I believe he has a motorized hideaway flip plate bracket. I would just get some L brackets and screw them to the bottom of the bumper. Texas has a front plate law but I have never had on on this car and have never had a problem in almost 2 years.

I think I might just bend portion of the plate, to make an "L" out of it, and screw the plate through that into the bottom of the bumper, with a pair of self-tapping screws, or something along those lines. Effin' with the license plate isn't exactly allowed in Ontario (Canada), but I've talked to some people locally, and they haven't gotten any heat for it form the cops themselves. My goal is to move the plate, but it'd be a bonus if I would also reduce its foot-print.

I have a few things to try now. Thanks...everyone.
