Well, for the last couple of days when I hit boost, sometimes I would bog out, so today I pulled my Fuel Pressure gauge from under the hood, and stuck it under the wiper. I hit boost a couple of time, and I notice that I am at about 80 PSI max, so I back off the tuning screw a little. I keep on tuning, testing, stopping, and tunning until when I heard something that sounded like someone "playing craps" from the engine. That's right, it sounded like my engine was rolling dice!
I let off immediately in dissbelief. I did it agian to be sure, and sure enough it did it again. The Fuel pressure gauge now read just above 70 PSI. I did the Tune-stop-test-tune thing again all up and down Cooper Street until the pinging went away. This was at 75 PSI. The engine no longer bogged out..my power was back!
Note that yesterday I was running 93 octane WITH Outlaw Octane Boost when this occured.
