Yeah dealerships suck. I had a thumping noise coming from my wheel well. They told me I had to replace all the wheel bearings and hub seals. The job was like 500 bucks. I was still getting the thumping noise after that. Once i put air in my tires though, the noise went away. Bah.

**** dealerships, i worked for one they i know what goes on behind the scenes, the mechanics just dont give a flying rats ass, they **** things up left right and center plus the assholes working at the front will try and rip your off for everything you own, if you want to get s*** done right do it yourself, this statement is one of the most truthful and accurate sayings ive ever heard. brakes wearing low? check it and if necessary replace them YOURSELF

call the better business bureau

good idea. Try the District Attny's office too. Any other consumer organizations, and maybe Call for Action or one of those TV news "looking out for the little guy" segments. Also there's probably a car dealer assoc. you could call to complain to.

my antenna mast was recently stolen off of my 5 and the parts counter quoted me $45, WTF, it is a piece of metal with threads on the end of it...!
