Anyways, I took the WRX the entire length of Highway 9, to Santa Cruz. It's very smooth and competant, though I didn't really push it.

Hwy9 is fun between Boulder Creek and the summit, huh? Not too many cars and some really nice sweepers. Weee!

Here are the directions:

from 101, take the Rengstorff Avenue Exit
it's on the West side of 101 in the same shopping complex as McDonald's and Costco, witn an In-N-Out straight across the street.

From Santa Cruz:

North Bay

Take the Rengstorff Avenue exit no matter which way you come.

wait. Anybody have a good route coming from 680??? I expect a lot of traffic. What yahoo tells me to do is go 680 to 580 to 238 to 88 to 84 to 101.......... hmmmmmmmmm ...


Does anybody know if the Rengstroff exit is north of the Montague Expressway exit?

Rengstorff is North of Montague on 101 (I am pretty sure)

I think it's the exit right after shoreline for the shoreline ampitheater, I don't really pay that much attention.

I don't know how far you are from 237, but taking 237 from milpitas (680) and following 237 all the way to 101 north might not be too bad.
