So it's off to the shop at 8am tomorrow and then hopefully by noon I am on my way to LA to go see Juan!

i was just on hicks tonight with my friend. the downhill is way fun, but i slid on one part of the uphill

So either the map was wrong or we were totally lost, but one of the roads we were supposed to take just ended in the middle of nowhere with 2 dirt driveways. So we went up Highland Rd and that turned out to be pretty fun, it led us to the top of the mountain, near the Loma Prieta summit, we could see both Santa Cruz and San Jose. Those roads were lots of fun though, definitely should be driven more often.

I will definetly not be there tomorrow. sigh....
We discovered that my driver side axle was majorly effed up when Mazda installed it at the factory, and it ripped my driver side cv boot. CV boot has been repaired and the axle is back in, a major PITA to get out and get back in, so I'll be ordering new axles to go in... but hopefully within an hour or so it's off to LA.
